Modern Gas continues its developmental efforts in the energy sector, having executed a significant volume of work in natural gas connection projects across nine governorates. The total number of conversions reached 125,180 by the end of the fiscal year 2024, while the total number of installation activities (internal and external) exceeded 242,000, reaffirming our commitment to providing a sustainable and reliable service.
The most accomplished governorates in terms of project volume:

• Al Sharqia Governorate: The highest-achieving governorate, recording 67,453 converted customers, with 57,200 internal and 54,222 external installations.
• Qena Governorate: Ranked second with 19,390 converted customers, and recorded the highest number of external installation activities with a total of 21,966 customers.
• Sohag Governorate: Witnessed a large volume of work, with 17,400 converted customers and more than 19,000 internal and external installations.
• Cairo Governorate: The capital recorded 11,849 converted customers and 19,200 internal and external installations.

Expanding Geographic Coverage
In addition to the governorates with high work density, the projects also included expansion in other regions across the Republic, such as:

• Alexandria, Qalyubia, and Ismailia Governorates: Where the number of conversions ranged between 1,300 and 1,800 customers in each.
• Strategic extension areas such as Matrouh and Alamein: Which recorded around 2,758 converted customers.
• Border regions such as North Sinai and South Sinai: Where essential gas connection works were completed, reaffirming the company’s commitment to providing services across all regions.

These achievements reflect the operational efficiency of the company’s workforce and its commitment to the national plan to provide clean and sustainable energy for all citizens.
