WHO WE ARE

Modern Gas Company (MODERN GAS) was established to be a leading entity capable of supporting the state’s ambitious plan in the energy sector.
We are the result of a strategic merger directed by His Excellency the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, through the unification of the efforts of Regions Gas Company, Sinai Gas Company, and Cairo Gas Company.
This merger was carried out with the aim of creating a major entity capable of undertaking and implementing large national projects — delivering natural gas to the largest possible number of industrial, commercial, and residential establishments, as well as fourth-generation cities — within the areas assigned to us.

Our Legal Form
We are an Egyptian joint stock company operating under the latest legal frameworks, established in accordance with the Investment Guarantees and Incentives Law No. 8 of 1997, as amended by Law No. 72 of 2017.

Core Business and Scope of Activity
At Modern Gas, we offer an integrated range of services covering the entire natural gas value chain and related projects, including:
Gas Infrastructure: Construction, management, operation, and maintenance of natural gas networks, installations, and pressure reduction stations.
Gas Distribution Infrastructure: Preparation and distribution of gas to consumers across various sectors: industrial, commercial, and residential.
Gas Trading: Receiving natural gas from transmission companies and delivering it to consumers, in addition to managing and operating natural gas vehicle fueling stations.
Infrastructure and Utilities Works: Executing works related to potable water, wastewater, electricity, and roads, as well as all civil works complementing excavation and maintenance activities.
Integrated Civil Works: Designing and implementing all civil works, including fire alarm and firefighting networks according to standard specifications.
Import and Agencies: Concluding commercial agency contracts with suppliers of machinery and equipment used in gas connection projects and marketing them locally and internationally (including import and export activities).
Execution and Contracting: Implementing natural gas projects for the company and for others as a contractor, in full compliance with all relevant decisions and regulations.
