Modern Gas strengthens the investment environment and develops infrastructure in Qantara West.
Modern Gas participated in the inauguration ceremony of several developmental and industrial projects in the Qantara West Industrial Zone, attended by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, as part of the state’s efforts to enhance the investment environment and develop infrastructure.
During the event, Eng. Wael Gowayed, Chairman of Modern Gas, presented the Natural Gas Pressure Reduction Station project implemented by the company in the area, with a design capacity of 40,000 cubic meters per hour and a total cost of 250 million EGP. The project serves the new industrial projects and supports future expansions with an additional station planned at a capacity of 160,000 cubic meters per hour.
Eng. Wael Gowayed emphasized that this project comes as part of Modern Gas’s strategy to support industrial development and provide integrated infrastructure. He noted that the company continues its efforts to improve performance and expand its services in line with the Ministry of Petroleum’s vision to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs — a strategy that also led to relocating the company’s headquarters to Badr City.
