Eng. Wael Gowayed, Chairman of Modern Gas, reviewed with the Governor of Qena the company’s efforts in implementing natural gas projects across the governorate, as part of Egypt’s national plan to expand the use of clean energy.

Modern Gas achievements included connecting gas to 9 main centers and 54 villages within the “Decent Life” initiative, operating 13 natural gas vehicle stations, and delivering service to 211 bakeries and around 224,000 housing units, in addition to supplying Qeft and Hoo industrial zones and 5 major factories.

Gowayed confirmed the ongoing network expansion to New Qena and West Qena, in line with the company’s plan to enhance infrastructure and extend gas services to industrial and residential areas.
